If you're ever in Brussels, be sure to go to the Mannekin Pis, then ignore it, go over the road and have a drink at Poechenellekelder, which is by far the superior tourist destination.

Barebottle makes really awesome stuff, but this pizza place has seen a huge jump in customers because all of their taps was crap like Bud Light, Coors, etc.. before the tap takeover. Never underestimate us beer nerds.

enough beer for the conversation to flow is all you need. imo it doesn't enhance sex just makes it easier to get there. weed is what you want for actually making sex phenomenal and becoming a sex god well that and paying attention

The updated farm brewing laws went into effect like a month ago in NY State. It used to be such that breweries/distilleries could operate 'Tasting Rooms' as extensions of their factory so long as the product they serve there is theirs and is composed of >50% NY State ingredients, but now they removed the 'is theirs' requirement (majority state components rule still exists). My friend who runs the bar for a whiskey distillery in NYC is super-pumped, as they can now have a tap and serve like one or two excellent/expensive beers and suddenly have a new market sell to a bunch of other breweries with this rule that exist. e: actually it looks like it's 20% NYS ingredients but it rises after several years Jimmy Carter fucked around with this message at 04:10 on Sep 5, 2017 |

though in defence of the norwegian booze ministry i will say that the selection on offer is fantastic, better than a lot of specialist beer shops in other countries. and wine prices aren't so bad

I'm actually not a big fan of Belgians (more into stouts/porters or bourbon) but made a stop and enjoyed it.

ipas and even double ipas can be good, though often they're just used to hide the craft brewer's inability to produce a decent beer by masking it with tons of hops.
