I was blown away when I found out ital, the Rastafarian diet, not only doesn't allow meat but by some interpretations doesn't allow anything but completely raw foods. Which means no pickles! It's already bad enough I have a less-than-spiritual smoking habit, but no pickles? That's a dealbreaker, sorry.
