I don’t own a Switch yet, but when my brother visited a few weeks ago he showed me Fast RMX and I had a lot of fun with it. When my Eeveechu Switch shows up later in November, I plan to pick it up. The game is very much F-Zero inspired. Good soundtrack, flashy graphics, and fast pacing that still manages to be controllable somehow. On the beginner circuit that I played, none of the tracks had any of the verticality that I remember from F-Zero X, but it could just be that later tracks get more creative. Still planning to pick it up regardless.

Bowsette (and by extension the whole crown thing) is popular because it provides a built in narrative hook. It allowed a lot of artists I've never seen or heard of to get some well-deserved spotlight, and it renewed some artists I follow who seem to have been on the decline with their output.

On a more game related note what are the odds that what little online Mario Party is going to have will run alright. There's so many games in the past that hinge on perfect inputs to do well that I kinda wonder how it'll handle.
