If you want to use more than 4GB of ram, Windows 64 bit is a requirement, and most high end gamers generally have more than that in a machine. I think as a way of curtailing cheating it's a good step, but there are plenty of methods to fool the MWO launcher into thinking it is 32 bit windows, and using that executable path.

For lasers and ghost heat, does the .5 seconds before you can fire without penalty start after the beam completes or after you pull the trigger? How do I fire these four large lasers the best without chainfiring like a chump?

So when I'm spectating someone and their little cursor thing is constantly making a weird wiggly circle (kind of like what its like when you're flying) that means they're hacking right? Like i can't imagine someone constantly wiggling their mouse in tiny concentric circles so that's just my guess.

There are like two mechs in the game that have a tool called MASK that helps you scoot along with a little burst of energy and it makes the cursor do cute little wiggles. It makes a revving noise too. It has a bar on the left with gradiations and a dangerzone of red that explodes you if you scoot too much.

Ghost heat is an undocumented penalty for firing too many weapons of certain types. For instance, if you fire more than 6 clan small or medium lasers of any type together (firing 7 er mediums will trigger the penalty, as will firing 3 er smalls, 2 small pulse, a medium pulse, and an er medium) causes the weapons to generate extra heat. How much heat depends on which weapon triggers the penalty and how many in excess of the ghost heat threshold are fired. The fun part is that ghost heat was designed to prevent players from fielding non-canonical mech builds that feature them boating all of the same weapon system Such non-canonical builds include the Nova PRIME, the Warhawk PRIME, the Direwolf Prime, the Executioner PRIME, the Awesome, and I'm sure that there are others I'm forgetting. Do I have to fire 7+ in .5 seconds or does each firing reset the timer? Like if I fire 1 small laser every 200ms, will the seventh still have ghost heat?
