You get green pine cones and pack them in a jar with brown sugar for a month, letting off pressure from fermentation and adding more sugar as the volume shrinks. Then simmer and strain. I have another batch going now with young pine tips which is also supposed to work. It is exactly what I had hoped for, really tasty.

Unfortunately a lot of the UK cooks its bacon like that, I don't know why. I assume it's cheap bacon because it just kind of boils in its own water content rather than really frying, you have to cook it until the water cooks off.

I’d take these tweets with a pinch of salt tbh. Their Facebook page has claimed the same cheesy chips as being served up at three different clubs and Reading play in blue and white hoops - the shirt in the background there doesn’t look like their away strip either. I mean it’s clearly been served at a football ground and is awful food so I’ll give them that.

Also a lot of the foods have sauce and such available to be added, and its just not in the pictures. Much like at Costco you get the sausage and bun, as an example, but then have to add condiments yourself.
