Hey, all! Unfortunately Ben is sick today and so we're putting Fatal Frame off 'til Thursday, meaning we're opening up with Dead Rising 2 today. Not exactly "spooky," but all the costumes at least makes it fitting for Halloween, heh. I haven't played this game in like 6 years, so come on by and help me out with directions and stuff! Also on YouTube, we have the end of the FF2 stream and the first update to the end of Ben's last Dark Souls 2 stream from... er... last December.  Hey, better late than never!Edit: Well, that was a disaster.  Dead Rising 2 is either glitchy or has a disc problem (it freezes at a certain cutscene), and when we tried switching to Fatal Frame, it has emulation problems! Should be fixed for when Ben streams it for reals on Thursday, but... argh.

So, I got a new disc of Dead Rising 2 and verified that there's a known problem with the latest PS3 patch, so we're playing it entirely au naturel. Let's see what bugs we'll run into in exchange for not having freezing cutscenes!  Starting now!Edit: Done! Got our first game over (due to running out of time, not dying), that's about par. I've forgotten so much about this game it's like watching a blind run. But we're back on track now and only missed 1 survivor. Might be playing this again tomorrow or something else, around the same time.

This weeks bad Wii games are: Game 152: Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles  Having failed to win the poll three times previously, it's finally Resident Evil's time to shine. By all accounts this is a pretty good game so I'm looking forward to getting to this. Game 153: FaceBreaker K.O. Party  At first I thought this was Ready2Rumble but it's actually something completely different. The trailer made it look like some kind of porno so who knows. Before we start we're going to be warming up with two bonus games both in honor of Umbrella Chronicles: Resident Evil: Survivor First of the lightgun orientated Resident Evil games, the NA release of this doesn't even support a lightgun (not that we'd be able to use it anyway). Resident Evil: Dead Aim Developed by Cavia who later went on to make the Umbrella Chronicles, it wasn't reviewed well but this can be considered a peek into how they got their heads around developing lightgun games. As always we'll be playing each Wii game for a minimum of an hour (Unless we complete them quicker). The complete list of games published on the Wii is here. After putting it off before due to tech problems and Ben being sick, we're finally streaming Fatal Frame for real tonight! That's Spooktober for ya, going from Factory Friday to Fatal Friday, heh. The idea for this one is to maintain the atmosphere, so we'll keep non-related chatter to a minimum, with me in chat typing to viewers (and occasionally commenting) while Ben does the primary commentary and streaming. If that sounds interesting, come watch! Latest YouTube uploads include the last week of Rune Factory 3 we streamed (yep, we're almost caught up), the endgame boss rush in Dark Souls 2, and more Darkest Dungeon. Edit: Done!
