Gotta get an 81-83 virago for a project bike now, before they catch on and double in price like the honda cb's. Click here for the full 818x1000 image.

I have no problem with stunting and think it's pretty cool provided people do it in a safe (for others) manner. An empty lot is perfectly fine, but doing it on public streets is not so much.

I can't remember what promo video it was but they were asking stunters to sum up their stunting in 3 words. His was "Probably gonna crash". Love it.

I challenge any of you to take the Supermoto Willpower Test (tm). The test involves riding a supermoto of your choice (the more powerful and lighter, the better) and see how long you last riding on the street before you do a wheelie or stoppie. It's that simple. If you make it three months without doing a wheelie, you win. I've yet to see anybody win this challenge. I bet my loving cat would fail it. I don't care how law-abiding you think you are, how scared or conservative you may be - you will cave, eventually. They all do.

No supermoto but I've been riding for six drat years and I've never done a wheelie ever. I don't know how. It embarrasses me. Then again I don't think I've ever had a bike that could.

You've definitely ridden bikes that can (even Ninja 250s can), but generally speaking it's hard to learn to do them on a bike that can just barely eek one out, even if you're really aggressive. Like you, I had never done a wheelie...until I got a supermoto.

My Husky is still the only bike I ever tried to wheelie on purpose. Though I still fight to not lean forward when the front comes up, which automatically brings it down, since that thing doesn't weigh much more than I do. It's completely impossible to ride a supermoto for a three month period without doing a wheelie. Even when I'm actively trying to keep it under control it happens. Plus who wants to live like that. Doing wheelies on a supermoto just isn't as assholish as doing wheelies on a sport bike for some reason. People expect it... the public is more OK with it for some reason. So are police. I'm not saying it makes sense but you can just... get away with more. I think it's because most people have ridden a dirt bike like an rear end in a top hat or supermotos remind people of when they were kids doing wheelies on their bicycles. I'm not sure. Plus you don't really see supermotos doing wheelies for miles down the freeway*.
