The Figma Avengers Iron Man is pretty drat near perfect. Proportions are less squat than the Figuarts Iron Man MK5 and it has some excellent paint and materials. Comes with a posable clear stand, too.

Metal pods! They need a little touching up with paint an a bit of grinding down with the dremel to get a perfect fit on the belt grooves, but the test fit looks very promising. Unfortunately, the spacing of the pods -- like may other things in film -- varied depending on the scene. So I'll just have to pick an arrangement I like and drill holes for them.

I need some help from you guys! I was at my parents' house digging through the rest of my old toys and found a Star Wars Boba Fett Slave 1 (I think). I wanna throw it up on eBay but the model has no information on the bottom of it regarding who made it and in what year it was released. Most of my old Star Wars toys were from the late 90's but that's my best guess.

The "little guys" is sometimes what really determines the value of a loose set. :smith:

Odd, though, that the Slave-I doesn't have a GALOOB or a year on it somewhere.

Mine was General Madine.

I picked this up from a K-Mart in 1984 for some reason:

To this day, I have no idea why I chose this over anything else.

If I remember correctly, despite Kenner having better case assortments back then, it was still possible for lesser-demand figures, like Dad---I mean General Madine to clog the pegs.

While my brother had a few Star Wars figures before, the first actual one I bought was Pruneface back in 1991 or so at the mall. They were having a sidewalk sale, with some vendor selling figures back then, and I saw Pruneface who was still in his package at the time for real cheap and got my parents to buy him.

Yes he is another weird figure l like General Madine, but I love the stupid little guy. Still have him too along with his late 90s remake. And go figure in the course of looking up info on him...I found out he had ANOTHER figure only two years ago...so I bought him for $5 on ebay because why not.

Same, child me bought two TIE Interceptors because just one wasn't enough for my Imperial Shuttle's escort. I was like eight when these came out and I was already spergin' about star wars.

I'm on my third right now and I don't really want my collection to spill over into a fourth. They're really nice but kind of a pain in the rear end if you ever have to move anywhere.

One thing I noticed since I got back into buying figures is...the lack of a DC version of Marvel Legends now. I remember they had a line going on a while in the late 2000s after Marvel Legends was still at Toy Biz, but noticed they now got replaced by really ugly looking figures instead.

The DC Classics line is no longer in stores, it's wrapping up it's run as MattyCollector exclusives. DC Collectibles has a dozen or more lines per year these days, all in the same scale.

That's kinda cool they still doing them elsewhere. Also didn't know they kept making the He-Men Classic line from years ago. I remember liking the new style figures, but man some of the ones on their site I wouldn't mind getting are out of print now.

Do they still do the same thing they did when they were DC Direct and announce new lines like a year ahead of time? That drove me bonkers.

What the best place to get the completed build a figures outside of ebay? Or a place to swap pieces, as I probably won't finish Terrax but have about half the pieces of Annihlus.

Dang, Fort Wayne is such a long drive from here.

Mostly just looking to get Annihilus' left arm and leg without having to buy the ugly looking Beast figure. Anyone want to trade those pieces for the Mandroid's gun arm and Terrax's head/axe?
