muscles like this! posted:American Crime Story: Katrina is back in production after being retooled. It sounds like Murphy had difficulty trying to find an angle originally but now everything seems to be working out as they're going to adapt the book "Five Days at Memorial." Which is about Memorial Medical Center and how they dealt with completely losing power after the storm. Here's a hint, it is super loving depressing. Misery porn combined with being the third season of a Ryan Murphy show? That sounds like a straight ticket to hell.

Because last time worked so well, NBC is once again rebooting the Munsters. This time Seth Meyers will EP and the super awesome premise is them living in Brooklyn in modern times.

The only good thing to come from the Katrina show is portraying Mr. American Sniper as either a serial murderer or a compulsive liar, depending on whether or not you believe his story about shooting looters during Katrina.muscles like this! posted:Because last time worked so well, NBC is once again rebooting the Munsters. The last Munsters reboot actually looked like it could have been good if they made a series out of it. Bryan Fuller as showrunner + Eddie Izzard as Grandpa was pretty inspired and the pilot they burned off as a Halloween special.

They changed their minds about taking Fuller's version to series, and only ever aired the pilot which was actually pretty good.

Che shirts are whatever. People comparing a mundane occurrence in everyday life to late-stage capitalism is getting to be a pet peeve of mine, though.

So far this season she's the least terrible she's ever been, and doesn't get much screen time. They've really upped James Urbaniak's role which makes me super happy. Even the terrible twink is really funny now. I'm amazed nobody else has been talking about it considering the first 2 seasons got some love here

I wish we had an active Sopranos thread. I'm doing a rewatch and am on the episode after Ralphie kills Tracee. The one that ends with Chris and Pauline beating the waiter to death. It's such a good show but it's also very clear that it was the first of its kind when it comes to the Golden Era of television. Like, Mr. Ruggerdio's Neighborhood has this obnoxious number of fade ins and fade outs. Nowadays they'd probably shoot those sequences like Breaking Bad's montages. There's no really interesting camera work or soundtrack. I mean, characters and storyline make up for it but I can see the frayed edges around the gold lining. Ya know? Also, how do you all keep up with everything? I've fallen behind every Netflix series I was into and haven't been able to start new ones because I have so much backlog. I'm really interested to see what happens as every company makes its own streaming service and then watch them fail because people aren't going to pay $4.99 or higher to 6 different services on top of their cable or satellite bill. Hell, I wanted to sign up for Seeso because it was cheap enough, but I would've only been able to watch via my iPad or laptop as I have a 3rd gen Apple TV. And like I mentioned, I'm behind on everything between Hulu and Netflix. I think we're due for a big implosion.

Depends more on the strain, I think. But the person, as well. In general I pay way more attention to the details of a show when I'm stoned, than not. But that could be because I'm used to being high any time I'm not at work. And even then it depends what kind of job I have, so ...

You can say a lot of things about Supernatural but I think one of the best compliments I can give it is that I don't think I've ever seen a decidedly non-comedy show do comedy episodes better than them. And it's something they nail every single time they go for it. Every episode with The Trickster, especially Mystery Spot, is a classic.
