Favre is also in the middle of a major welfare scandal. To super online people like us Rodgers pulling his recent nutty stuff stands out more but will probably be much easier to sweep under the rug in the long term compared to that.

Rodgers is just like normal weirdo white QB conservative dickhead. Farve is literally stealing money from poor people to get a loving vollleyball facility for his daughter.

Favre has that stupid “iron man” consecutive starts record which will never go away. Also, he went to one more Super Bowl than Rodgers, even if they both only have one ring. Favre also has the most INTs record, while Rodgers has the best INT:TD ratio over some thousands of throws. We’ll see if he ruins that with another season of football though. My gut feeling - Favre goes down in NFL history as a Paul Bunyan figure while Rodgers is an, “oh yeah, that other guy who played for the Packers and was really good… but let’s talk more about BrEtT fArrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!” Definitely first ballot Hall of Famer though.

Brett gets credit for bringing the Packers back to relevance after being bad for so long. Unfairly or not, Rodgers will always be QB 2b because of that. There are elements of Farve's story that are straight up mythic, from being drafted as an afterthought by coach who said Favre would never play QB as long as he (the coach) was in the league to the game he had after his father died. Rodgers may be technically better but that's the point. Methodical perfection is less open to myth making than passionate play. What's funny is that after Starr, Farve and Rodgers deciding who was the fourth best Packers QB is a game of what about that guy?

since 2012 here's two qbs to choose from qb a: 142 games, 4866 attempts, 66.8% completion, 7.6 y/a, 7.7 ay/a 261 ypg, 97.8 rating qb b: 161 games, 5547 attempts, 65.3% completion, 7.5 y/a, 8.2 ay/a, 258.9 ypg, 103.4 rating so yeah, basically just a slightly better kirk cousins, and despite GB's wr issues lately cousins dealt with worse in washington

Of course not, he played in the 40s, threw to Don Hutson, and led green bay to 4 championships.

I personally wouldn't stay but the NIL money can probably come close to what he'd make in his first year in the NFL. And maybe he just doesn't want to play for the Texans.

If Stroud comes out, I still think trading with Houston to move down a spot and then trading again for a team that wants Stroud (Colts?) would bring an impressive haul.

I think we can all agree that whatever strategy the bears use in the draft will blow up in their face because they are the bears.

They'll get a huge haul and then use it to draft a special teams jammer, a fullback from Rutgers and a highly touted edge rusher whose legs suffer from Greg Oden-itis.

They'll draft the shittiest cornerback in a draft filled with great cornerbacks. Basically their strategy for wide receiver in last year's draft.

Charlie Batch I think Goff makes that list easily.
