I read that as her comparing her own experience to that of Swedes/Scandinavians, by playing on the stereotypes — we are the same, but not. Swedes are rule-bound and drunk, Danes are sloppy and lazy, Norwegians are jolly and old-fashioned. In the rest of the nordic countries, Faroese are spiritual, Finns are wild, Icelanders are TRVE VIKING, etc This all from a Danish viewpoint, I'm sure some other Nordics will soon chime in with more

That description of Scandinavia including a bunch of other countries was probably written by an Estonian angry that their country is treated as Sweden’s party beach for drunk yuppies, or by a faroe islander bitter that conditions worsened significantly after everyone forgot they exist after the British left at the end of ww2.

I changed up the order of the faces to flow better and it kinda tells a story. Also reversed Theft as well.

He goes through all my stuff, and it keeps beeping for explosives and I'm like "ugh this sucks, they're gonna ship me back to Denmark on my expense", but then he finds the bottle of alcohol and asks me what's in there (I had wrapped it in brown paper for the occasion). Now I'm definitely getting thrown out. I tell him it's a special Danish booze, we're going to my cousin's wedding, see? He looks at me a bit, doesn't even peel back the brown paper to check the bottle, then goes alright, you're fine. tbf, they did confiscate my aunt's knitting pins and took apart the cake we brought. But top notch security lol

Yeah but everyone has tasted those anyway. And a taste is enough  e: I once asked a bartender for the worst booze he has and he dug out a bottle of Kentucky Gentleman. He said he wouldn't even sell it to anyone else but since he hated me I could have some. (I have no idea whether Kentucky Gentleman is from Kentucky or a bourbon  )
