Basically we need one of those though. And a scratching post/cat tree thing.

Check out the armakat trees on amazon. They usually have good ones on clearance. When I got mine I was afraid they'd ignore the tree because cats are assholes but they where climbing on it even as I was building it.

aluminum foil does wonders for keeping cats off surfaces. they hate the stuff.

Also get small spray bottles to fill with water so you can squirt babou and his buddy when they inevitably do something bad like climb the blinds/drapes.

And get 'da bird' as a toy--it will drive the cats absolutely nuts.

Welcome to the club. Appa does the same thing because of her abyssinianness. Heres a list of foods i can only eat when she is asleep otherwise she either straight up takes it, or begs for it the entire time i try and eat it:
Apples
Carrots
Any kind of meat. I mean any kind.
Green Olives, especially the pit. She just rolls around attacking the pit and poo poo. she never eats the pits though.
