Titan is just too small and has too little going on. The aesthetics and music are awesome though.

I got the Titan exotic anime legs earlier, and I think I really dislike them A LOT. It really changes how you can move around and gives you radically more control and jump duration, but I think the way it's implemented (?) is bad. It feels like that same loose and stronger freedom of movement is also applied to knockback effects, and because those effects are a strong as gently caress impulse normally when you wear the legs it's outta control. I was getting boss stomps that would knock me back twenty feet but with the legs I was getting blasted completely off the map. Situational at best. Probably wanna pick a setup that minimizes being in melee range. I tried doing some public events and after dying like that 3-4 times I just went fuckkit and went back to the autoloader armor. One thing that's interesting to compare is the autoloader titan armor and the warlock boots. Titan only loads the autorifle that's in your hands, but it constantly reloads. Warlock reloads your energy weapon even if you're not holding it, but only as long as you're sprinting. Both are pretty cool.

Question about drops that I'm kind of confused on: it sounds like drops are determined solely by your light level, but then people are saying that it's calculated based on all the stuff in your inventory / stash too. Does that mean that even if I equip a weaker weapon and my light stat goes down, my drops are still based on the what my highest light *could* be? Because right now my most powerful kinetic and energy weapon are both hand cannons and boy it fuckin' sucks.

There is a limit though right? All my guys are at or around 280-285 now so everything that isn't "powerful gear" engram rewards or from an exotic engram is coming out at 279 for me. Powerful gear is 288 and exotics seem to have a bit of variance, either coming out at 284 or 288.

The difference between the two was instantly noticeable but hard to put in words. Mobility is important for titans too. If you have anything at real low numbers you're nuts or some kind of Zen master player imo.

The top crucible dudes are currently going for 8-10 in Resilience (Titan) and Mobility (Hunter), while Warlocks aren't really going any higher than 7 on Recovery. Titans seem to favor recovery over mobility, and Hunters recovery over resilience. Lots of pro titans with 0-1 mobility, and hunters with 1-2 resilience. Warlocks are sort of at like 3-3-7 for the most part.

If you equip a 10 damage weapon and are still at 270 light, you are going to be doing way less damage than if you had a 270 weapon also. However, you're still going to be doing way more damage than if you had all level 10 gear. Damage scales based on the level difference between you and the enemy you're fighting (even though uou aren't shown that level), but the attack level of your weapon is a major factor in that calculation.
