Final Fantasies 4, 5, 6 and 9 are good. And I also really liked 11 because I'm apparently a masochist. Nobody plays that anymore though now that 14 is no longer poo poo. You wanna charge $12/mo for a 12 year old game that nobody plays? gently caress off Square. Also if you actually care about the thrilling 30 you may be a crazy person. therealjon_ posted:I want to believe every account on TFW is a troll. I wish. The combiner wars wording about everything being some sort of combination makes we wonder if we're going to get repaints that are a non-combining toys but combine two characters into a single toy. So like Fuzors but nobody sprung the money for original molds so they're all repaints. I'm still waiting for a Rotorstorm figure that uses Springer, Whirl, or Sandstorm because we have all the other big name G1 helicopter bots including Spinster. Then again since the Turbomasters are a team there's really nothing stopping them from being a combiner themselves with Thunderclash as the main bot.

All this, and no one will make a bear Transformers wielding a Targetmaster shark? We could put him in the comic, the bear being literally Barbearian and Cybertronians sometimes think they see him in the wilderness but no one has any proof except for blurry photos.

Blackheart posted:What was the deal with energon hips again? I only have one energon figure I think. A bunch of them (mostly Autobots) had universal joints that were mounted vertically, like on MP Soundwave but less well-considered (I concede to have eaten crow on that one. MP Soundwave's hips are thoroughly acceptable), in order (usually) to facilitate the combining gimmick. They really stunk.

Some of the Energon Autobots were hobbled by the gimmick, but the Decepticons were almost all fun, chunky bastards.

Keldroc posted:Pretty sure Thrilling 30 is just Hasbro tormenting the completists. It's a wave promotion as well as a crossline line. Considering you need stuff like Shockwave's Lab as well as the identical Asian release, it's pretty poorly done. Because everything after FOC was Thrilling 30. But now Combiner Wars is the next thing.

You also had stuff that was meant for Generations(i.e. Omega Supreme) and was switched to Platinum and Platinum, is another crossline line. But the Thrilling 30 for Generations is something entirely different.

I just wish I remembered how since I haven't transformed him in ages. DOTM voyager Ironhide's chest also locks together but people always say it doesn't. Deluxe Ironhide owns and in many ways is the most screen-accurate Ironhide.

Deluxe Ironhide owns once you get the hang of his weirdly undocumented features like his chest locking in securely, or the fact that you can flip up one of his arm guns so his drone can be tucked away in vehicle mode.
