United Front is the developer of Sleeping Dogs. United Front is the developer of Triad Wars. The only person who called it Sleeping Dogs 2 is the person who posted the article initially. The idea that the developer of Sleeping Dogs is suddenly shifting its development towards a free to play game is the source of people's concern. Will they just make free to play games now? Will they continue to make excellent singleplayer games? These are the questions presented by this article. I'm sorry I had to spell this out for you.

Jade Empire is hilariously bad at times. Bioware strikes again I guess. Every choice is "yes I'll help you" or "no, time to die" and every single bad choice is motivated by money. It's never "I'll get you a sweet power or gem or something" it's 100% "more money". If you want good items or combat styles, always be good

I'm having fun stunning people then blowing them apart with a rifle, though. Or stunning them and turning into a giant frog. Or just stunning them, because that skill is beyond broken

Triad Wars was already announced as a Sleeping Dogs game. (They didn't actually call it a sequel tho.)

I enjoyed the kung-fu/magic transformation part of the game :(
I want Sleeping Dogs style combat + Being able to switch between different styles of martial arts.
They already did that by the way. It was called True Crime New York City. It was the jankiest piece of turd but I enjoyed it :(

I don't have anything against the genre, but after having a game like Nation Red, I feel like buying a new arena/survival/horde game with perks and stuff is redundant.

This is kind of funny since Crimsonland is pretty much the granddaddy of the genre, and Nation Red pretty much rips from Crimsonland wholesale. I personally think Crimsonland is still the best of this type of game.

Just reminding everyone here that you can currently get Shadow of Mordor over at Nuuvem for the equivalent of about 30 bucks USD. The deal goes away in 9 hours, and the prerelease videos and gameplay footage looks fantastic, plus you'll get the preorder stuff from Steam. You can't preload as you get the key when the game releases.
