I really love the new map, my only complaint is that the 24/7 playlist seems to disproportionately put me in live fire or pilots vs. pilots matches, and I'm useless at those modes. Also, I noticed they finally changed the Titan difficulty rankings so they actually sorta make sense now.

I'm compensating by getting good with Tone, rodeos, and pilot executions. :Woot: The G2 seems to be my gun du jour too, which is a change from the usual R201 or CAR.

Glitch is great, it's totally different from any other map. The multi level labyrinth aspect really reminds me of Quake or Unreal Tournament. Played CTF, Hardpoint, Attrition, PvP, and Live Fire on it so far, and while I find Hardpoint frustrating as poo poo on any map, they all work strangely well. CTF is especially fun; I liked going for the flag low in one of the trenches, then coming in the flag room through the back to surprise everyone turtled up in there. Worked more than once. I did not expect there to be titans on it the first round I played and got the poo poo scared out of me when a Ronin phased in right in front of me and meleed me while I was just plodding along Inspector Hound fucked around with this message at 16:24 on Apr 28, 2017 |

Finally picked this game up again after playing way too much Andromeda. Relearning the controls was a trip and a half! Glitch is an amazing map with great flow. I actually really like it even for Live Fire. Man, I picked this game up in January but the MP only started clicking in March, but now y'all prodigal sons have been kicking my butt since the DLC dropped. Is the match making skill based or on your level or what? Also, glitch is rad as hell but bad for trying to level my rarely used assault rifles.

So each team is one pro + 2 cannon fodder. It's "balanced"...from a certain point of view

In attrition at least having less bad players is better than having better top players cause the bad ones just feed the other team kills over and over. It's great to win a match by like 200 because two people on an otherwise good team just keep flinging themselves at my titan and never even manage to kill it

Matches definitely feel uneven. I had a match where we got stomped like 250-400, then a couple after that where we rolled over the other team and I got a couple of decent Tone rampages going. Still didn't score even 100 points, and score-wise it was pretty even on our side, so I guess the other team was just that much worse than us?

Mono and I played on Sunday afternoon and every game we had was extremely tight. Try queuing up with just 1 other goon and see if that helps.

Jon Shiring, one of the software engineers at Respawn did a talk a few months before the announcement of Titanfall 2. He talks a lot about the design decisions for managing data across servers. He starts to talk about matchmaking around 27:30 for anyone interested. Unless I misunderstood, it seems to check by latency first and funnels the players into a server and I assume thats when it does skill based matchmaking. (At least, he mentions that there being skill based matchmaking somewhere) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayF8e8q_aA8&t=1669s He does specifically say that having all 3 of these be true at the same time is basically impossible.  I'm also kind of assuming this all stayed true for TF2, since that was only less than a year away. Also, forgot to post this, Gamesager had some really impressive CTF caps on his feed and he made a guide for some of his routes. Having some trouble finding games on PS4 despite swapping between various US servers from the main menu (I assume that is the purpose of the "data center" selection?) Tried Oregon, Salt Lake, Dallas, Virginia... Are there any recommendations or does it take awhile to find games no matter where?

What's your NAT type of whatever show? The population is low but you shouldn't straight up be having trouble finding games. Every so often I know someone just can't get their ISP to agree with TF2 and they have to gently caress with ports
