Exact same bug just happened in Apex as well, which has also been a mess in regards to server performance after recent updates: https://twitter.com/iCEEOps/status/1438887294166048771

So, you'd occasionally go up against someone who would fly through the air punching and shooting you super fast over and over.

Deltarune Chapter 2 features an optional boss that the player can attack with charged shots. A technique for spamming charged shots was discovered almost instantly and addressed almost as quickly with a patch, but instead of patching it out Toby Fox instead decided to nerf it by boosting the boss' attack whenever the player spams. (spoilers for Deltarune Chapter 2, naturally) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1LRd4E18jk His face goes red and he churns smoke if you spam, and after doing so but a few times his attack grows high enough to one-hit the player. Interestingly, this effect is increasingly nerfed the more the player dies to this boss, as if to say "okay, you can spam if you really need to."

alexandriao posted:is that not exactly what that one visual novel does Yes and no. Doki Doki Literature Club occasionally uses the language of glitches to show things going wrong, but it more uses it as just a small part of its greater arsenal of 'uncanny game horror'. It more typically likes subverting its own artstyle and genre conventions than pretending to be broken. It does lean a lot on the very related angle of using the game's conventions and file structure to aid in telling the story, which is something you can do very well for PC games especially.

https://i.imgur.com/u3A5LxO.mp4 Here's something I hadn't seen before in MGSV, shooting a wild dog caused it to flip into its default model pose. Sadly it didn't happen to anything else, I was kinda hoping to be able to shoot enemies into T-poses.

The T-Pose gun sounds pretty reasonable. Nonlethal weapon that locks targets into a t-pose.

gun that jams you into a t-pose, rips your pants off, and sticks you on a motorbike revving at full speed back towards enemy lines. talk about shock and awe

I don't know why, but leaving the game running for over a thousand in-game days was just hilarious to me. It broke so many things because the developers never expected anyone to do that. Just ran into a funny bug in Lost Judgment.. I somehow managed to trigger a story cutscene and a sidequest cutscene at the same time. The result was Yagami getting confronted by a group of masked assassins but before the fight could start he got distracted by a kitty and ran off after it. Edit: found a video of the glitch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFovQBh8gqg Spikey has a new favorite as of 12:31 on Oct 2, 2021 |

This is from a few seasons ago in Destiny 2, but I recently checked it out and it's still there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dq5yV0eswg If you go partially into a cave on Nessus and then backtrack until it zone loads, then blow yourself up with a grenade launcher, it'll spawn you in an empty version of the new Proving Grounds strike. Since the doors are locked, you can't go too far into the actual strike, but what you can do is jump up through the ceiling vents and explore outside the map. Not all of it is shown in the video, but there's some weird as hell geometry floating in the sky bordered by an invisible wall. You can't see it from inside the map, but from outside you get a one-way window into the Nessus Battlegrounds area and you can even snipe from there if you want to help other players.
