last year I hung out with my partners chud hippy Florida man uncle who's like 45 and he was going on about how Tool is the Pink Floyd of our generation and holy poo poo did you know Lateralus follows the fibonacci sequence, mind-blowing stuff. when i was a kid i went to see tool with friends in fort worth and discovered mike patton for the first time opening with tomahawk who just tortured the audience with noise and shouted insults at them for being a bunch of stupid rednecks. the tool fans hated them but i thought it was great and it took me down a road of listening to various mike patton bands. but it also says something about what tool thinks of their own fans https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aA5NxTujqg

yeah i thought that was hosed up too. my assumption was that in the victims own testimony he admits to throwing the first punch, although the stabber was definitely trying to physically intimidate him, touched him first, and escalted the situation fary beyond self-defense. the cops just said "oh well he was acting in self defense" and hosed off after that
