Striker is the best. They neutered the poo poo out of hammer titan in favor of captain America. Both other titan classes have better melee bonuses. Unless I'm missing something, standing in a sunspot created after melee or grenading something doesn't really recharge your powers that well? Like, striker perk of shoulder charge to gain two grenades over and over, or captain America perk of recharging grenade if your grenade pops an entire mob,.. These are just too good.

If you create and get in a sunspot early, you can throw like twice as many hammers with Endless Siege. It's good in PvE when you need to keep distance, but Sunbreaker lost a lot in PvP with the removal of seeking hammers.

k so the fact that beating the raid unlocked a new pvp map is super cool-

except that it sucks

it's waaaay too loving huge for 4v4. Like it's cathedrals size almost I think and that was too big for 6v6!

really exacerbates the whole "stand way in the back with mida" thing. The only reason it was remotely playable when I played it was because it was control so you want to fight for the middle, clash and supremacy are going to be unbearable

Raided with some goons, got up to the last encounter and were able to put some time into learning mechanics, then hosed around in the underbelly for a while exploring and getting chests. It was cool and good and fun and I suggest everyone make some video game pals and get fat from strength.

fun fact: Asher will not give you an exotic you already have in your collection. Doesn't even have to be on you. That's a neat safety net for the hasty and stupid.

So it's possible so solo the Drain room. I just did it with a warlock with lighting grenade, grenade launcher and melee. Probably easier with a titan and two grenades.

Took a single lighting grenade to kill a drone, the pulse grenade. Two grenade launcher shots per bot, and the last was one shot and melee to kill.

If you want to waste an hour, or just want the challenge, it's kind of fun. I also got 5 purple engrams and some raid tokens for my trouble, so not a bad place to spend your time.

It sucks complete rear end for supremacy, but that might be 4v4 as a whole with that gametype.
That map just has 0 good flow, and it's instantly apparent.
Zoned into our first match on it and immediately said it was going to be poo poo.

I played it right after it unlocked, on Supremacy. Three of the four people on the other team had MIDAs, none on my team did. We won by a healthy margin and I had a respectable 2.47 kd.

At some point people need to stop blaming losses on everything but themselves.

Edit: oh I see you apparently won. So what's your complaint about the MIDA thing? Unless your team were making use of that and the other's weren't?

Like Jesus can we move on to some other aspect of crucible to moan about please? I'm doing well without a MIDA because I don't have it yet, but when I do I'll want to use it and people will inevitably bitch about it because that's the new narrative. My god.
