There's quite a bit of empty wall space you could probably wire up a few screens and that would allow you to watch multiple games at the same time. Then you need a switch board.

To you know, watch more matches at once passively, and an audio controller.

I think you will find in my OP that i mention that empty space would be ideal for an actual tv.

Traders at sportsbooks get paid pretty poorly. Doing this on my own has been more than worth while so have just been finding ways of adapting my "battlestation" (god I hate that Reddit term for this) to work well for my day job and this activity. Of course on weekends it can take everything over.

Most of the time I'm actually not watching games but the various odds screens, which the portrait monitors work really really well for.

As someone not too familiar with sports betting, may I ask what your betting "flow" is with that set up?

Do you have a Grays Sports Almanac laying around somewhere?

I wish, but then I'd have to go around calling people buttheads all the time and that would get old.

It would be telling to share exactly what we do, but the odds act like markets all over. What DraftKings thinks an outcome should pay, versus what FanDuel, etc. There are inefficiencies in these markets that you can exploit when one book is "off" from what it should be. You bet the off side enough (provided it's paying enough for the trouble, expected value...) then over the long run the math plays out and you make money.

So the flow is to watch the various markets and see where these inefficiencies are at and jump on the good side of the bet.

My partner and I have been at this for a couple years and our ROI on roughly 30,000 bets is around 18-19%. We've recently found ways to find "fatter" inefficiencies in the in-game markets that we are averaging about 25-35%.

It's been a wild adventure that keeps growing and should have busted by now, but hasn't.

E: most of the time I have no clue about the teams or players, it's just numbers. Never bet with an opinion on the outcome.

It is a bit drab, been thinking about how to liven it up a bit. I've picked up some swag along the way from various promotions, I probably should find a way to weave it in

The big UW is being supported by this guy here

Then each of the 27" have each of the below.

I just ordered another one of the husky desks, this time one with drawers, to make an L desk.

Yeah I've always felt with 3 monitors, it makes sense to have individual monitor arms, in part to spread out the weight and in part because the left/right monitors are so much farther forward from the back of the desk than the middle monitor. Unfortunately, this isn't cost effective, so I haven't pulled the trigger on monitor arms yet for my 3x 27" monitor setup.

I'm starting to think about an ultrawide, curved center monitor instead of adding a 3rd screen for this reason. Still not sold on it yet.

I normally have around 5-7 windows open simultaneously and Windows 11's window anchoring and persistency is actually really good. Unfortunately every single one of those windows contains senstive information, so I've opted to show you my boring rear end wallpaper instead.

Inboxes, calendars, browsers, to do list and usually PDF/Word/Excel depending on the time of the month. I'm gradually reducing the amount of disparate and shite systems I rely on that require window hopping.

lol, I'm now at the point where I wait for Ferrari/Charles to gently caress themselves and then have a nap, so maybe 20 minutes of a Grand Prix? W11's window management is far better than W10 natively, I've never had any issues with it when I unplug the laptop from the dock and plug it back in later.
