Yeah, I did a purge last weekend. It was about 50 real accounts, 150 or so characters. Lot of people seemed to drop off early June. More surprising to me is how few people I had to purge, lot of people getting on Jabber every so often, even if they aren’t actively playing. And yeah, as a few people pointed out, it’s pretty prominent in the MOTD now.

It's a good idea, if only to avoid the buildup of like 2000 inactive characters that you had to purge during the API/ESI change. I made fish tacos a bunch of times this summer, I could have stayed "active" just by posting food pics to the taco club thread. (Are tacos still a thing, or that an old meme now?) As is I'll stick with the vacation until I feel like playing.

It would work, i was clearly connected and coukd see elysium chat but if i tried to type, it would open a chat which whoever was on top of the elysium list. I eventually gave up after many tries but i'd probably give it another go if I ever I rejoin.
