There is not a day that goes by that known pussy Ted Cruz doesn't email to beg for money, like a dog begging for table scraps. Truly pathetic. This time he is pumped because Rush compared him to Ronald Reagan. Also, spinning the same crap that it will come down to him vs Trump and saying Trump is still running attack ads against him. The guy is delusional.

Hereby it is manifest that during the time men live without a common power to keep them all in awe, they are in that condition which is called war; and such a war as is of every man against every man.

CNBC /= MSNBC.

That said, I don't know how much useful material we'd get by watching Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow asking Republican candidates questions anymore than watching Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly asking Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders questions. Both would be pointless.

In 2008, when both sides were having basically weekly debates on all the networks, we had similar exposures on both sides and it wasn't really useful for anyone.

Bush is also loath to critique Jeb’s campaign, friends said. The brothers, separated in age by six years, are not particularly close. They speak occasionally, but only when Jeb calls George. Sensitive to Jeb’s demanding schedule, George doesn’t want to pester. He offers advice only when Jeb asks.

Fun Fact: In each of the last three debates, Ben Carson has not only had the least speaking time, but also less than half that of the candidate with the second most speaking time. Additionally, the latter phenomenon has only happened in those three debates.

Ted Cruz is a delusional and deceptive gently caress of the worst kind. He claims to be the antithesis of establishment elites and yet he's 100% funded by big banks, hedge fund managers, and the donor class altogether. He knows that his flyover country base doesn't seem to give a poo poo as long as he keeps touting the Bible, Constitution, and "pure conservatism" every three minutes.

Disgusting.

Both sides need to be focusing all time and money making sure Cruz does not get the nom. Bernie supporters need to be putting that 27 dollars towards anti Cruz stuff.

Long guarded by aides vigilantly limiting his exposure, Rubio has abruptly morphed into a freewheeling raconteur in front of a press pack that he has kept at a distance since launching his presidential run last April. The U.S. senator from Florida says he always planned to open up this way as the nomination battle moved beyond the more intimate early states, where his time was dominated by meeting voters one-on-one. But the shift feels more like a prescription for healing the deep wounds left by his devastating showing at the last GOP debate, where he was mocked for being too scripted and robotic after uttering the same phrase four times.

quote:

His hour-long charter flight interview also did not begin with an emphasis on his “new American century” theme, as is often the case. Instead, it started with Twix bars: Rubio wanted to demonstrate how cold and hard they were after explaining at breakfast that he had cracked a molar biting into one.

When Bush gets together with friends, sometimes they go around the room making predictions about who the GOP nominee might be. Some say Trump; others say Rubio.

But one person always says Jeb.

“He believes it,” this friend said. “He totally believes it.”

He believes it. He totally believes it. He totally, totally believes it. No, really.

What good will W do for Jeb? It's kinda ironic that he's coming back out into the spotlight under the auspices of 'helping' -- if his administration wasn't so loving toxic to the electorate the Republican field would probably be a lot stronger. I don't think anybody came out of that administration with an intact reputation.
