Yeah what a piece of poo poo, as opposed to all of the Democrat brown-shirts salivating over Scalia's death in anticipation of destroying the second amendment. I hope the GOP Senators stand firm and refuse to confirm ANY justice Obama tries to nominate that doesn't fully support the second amendment. NO more Kagans, Sotamayors, Ginsburgs, etc. who want to smash the bill of rights. Find a liberal pro-abortion judge who ISN'T massive hypocrite gun-grabber if you want to get someone through the senate Mr. Obama.

I'm sad for his family and those who loved him but his passing is unabashedly a good thing for actual conservarive jurisprudence and stare decisis.

Trump's strategy should now be to say that Cruz should be defeated in the primary because he's needed as a Justice on the Supreme Court. It would be beyond concern trolling; I don't even know what you'd call it.

What I hope Obama does is, if (ha ha) the Senate refuses to confirm an Obama nominee, to keep calling the Senate into special session until the important work of filling a vacancy is over. Want your traditional "take the entire month of August off" summer recess? Not until the crisis of the vacant Court seat is filled.

We've had a GOP appointee majority SCOTUS for a LONG time, and gay marriage is now legal. abortion has remained so, and PPACA was upheld, because the GOP appointees have NEVER voted lock-step in purely political moves. Sadly the Democratic appointees often do, and do so against our bill of rights and civil liberties. 1st amendment, 2nd amendment, private property rights, etc. I am legitimately terrified right now.
