it's for a 2d game so a vulkan renderer is totally overkill but otoh rendering some quads fast might actually be achievable without too much work (as opposed to making a renderer for a 3d game). and i want couple of effects that use opacity mostly this is for nicer text rendering than SDL_ttf

cjs: got contacted about some old simulations i wrote a long time ago. i met with a couple people and talked about it, basic stuff. someone sent me an email that was “we downloaded your github, compiled the program, does this output look right?” with an attachment. the output of the program is a binary file and they literally sent me them running the program and then running hexdump on the output. wtf am i supposed to do with that? i was pissed off since i’m not getting paid and it’s just a weird thing to do so i sent them a dismissive and curt email and now i feel bad.

well i can't help too much with that unfortunately but i can help you to block those in-app ads lol i use adguard pro on ios and android, which will certainly do it, but you might not even need the whole shebang. just dns filtering should work too, try either adguard's dns or nextdns. neither should require an app
