Some of them eventually go into film, Sibel Kekilli for one. A lot of it has to do with the transition into acting. Stoya said she frequently gets requests to be in movies if they're looking for someone with the "porn star look" and after a bit of experience she just throws said requests into the garbage because she doesn't have the typical look of a porn star and never gets the role. A lot of advancing in acting in general has a lot to do with who you know.
