you dont get to experience more consciousness by dreaming within your dream because the premise is that your physical brain can experience 10 times more consciousness while dreaming than while awake but your brain in dream level 1 and dream level 2 and dream level 3 is still the same physical brain. no matter how many levels deep you go you max out at 10x. you cant go 7 levels deep and live 107 as long. that would require your physical brain to process consciousness at 106 over what the premise suggests it is capable of

Inception is not actually about dreamscapes though or trying to be fancy pants with gravity despite the marketing and premise. The film is about you should never live your life with regret, be realistic, and take chances before they pass you by. Cobb is a father and widow who didn't have his poo poo together and now lives every waking moment wishing he had took up cocaine rather then getting married.

I watched an avengers movie on a long plane flight a couple years ago. I can't believe that's what passes as a good movie nowadays. It was just people flying around in costumes and shooting stuff out of their fingers, ffs

im permabanned poster dreamstomper58. i first started reading Christopher Nolan when i was about 12. by 14 i got really obsessed with the concept of "dreams" and tried to channel it constantly, until my thought process got really bizarre and i would repeat things like "dream levels" and "i love that lovely actor from 3rd rock" in my head for hours, and i would get really paranoid, start seeing things in the corners of my eyes etc, basically prodromal schizophrenia. im now on antipsychotics. i always wondered what the kind of "ironic" style of dream humor was all about; i think it's the unconscious leaking in to the conscious, what jungian theory considered to be the cause of schizophrenic and schizotypal syptoms. i would advise all people who "get" Inception to be careful because that likely means you have a predisposition to a mental illness. peace.
