I enjoyed that. Took a while to recover from what were probably early mistakes, but we managed it after a good back-and-forth middle. And I pretty much didn't notice that O2 on O6 was nearly winning* at the time. We were trying to set up the capture of G6, which could have maybe been a trade or net gain. It seems the game is very much about setting up the double-force to win. Or take advantage of a situation like here, where GY needs to make two moves to escape safely, so if we can make one move that uncovers a threat it's a win. *Grey needs to get G4 on top of G6 in order to get GY out safely (G4 next to G2 allows O4 & O1 to move out and trap GZ). Though that might be at best a draw still.

One of our players was saying that it definitely seems like having multiple minds to chew over it for multiple hours changes the dynamic of the game. You get the short-term recognition of options that a good player would have, but none of the follow-through and long-term planning that said good player would bring along with it.
