For a guy who can score 15-20 goals in the NHL he really came out of nowhere. Niemi is bad in a way I haven't seen in a while. Usually bad NHL goalies can still make saves, they just have awful rebound control or little ability to read pucks through traffic. Niemi seems to just get straight up beat consistently. It's weird.

It's probably better this way. Lethonen will occasionally (used to?) have a good game and trick people into thinking he isn't poo poo. You might get off the Niemi hook via waivers before he does too much more damage.
