yeah I eat rear end posted:i really want the government to end because this is one of the longest benders i've ever been on and I don't think I can sustain it much longer. I have been hammered since christmas eve. When I don't have to go anywhere the next day my brain automatically goes in to "got to get lit, make sure there is more liquor in the house that i can drink without dying and let's get busy" mode. That's not a "bender", that's alcoholism.

Normally I am more restrained and make sure I'm not too hung over to last through a meeting. When I know basically nobody else will be in the office that downgrades to just making sure I can drive to work safely, which is a much easier standard to meet.

I could work at my local Target and make almost the same amount. Yeah the benefits are pretty nice but they don’t pay your rent or buy your groceries. Yeah, what gets me is that a lot of the furloughed depend on that (supposedly) reliable income, even if it’s not a lot. This government thing clearly isn't working. It costs too dang much, inefficient, employs far too many people. We should outsource the whole thing to some sweatshop imo.

It seems like a really bad idea to have this sort of extortion system built into your political system. In most countries when they can't agree on a budget the previous budget just rolls over to the new fiscal year, better luck next year.
