I too am appalled you took the Raven worshiper off the ring, but am also intrigued by your thought process on forming the ring. I usually try to have people who are great at several skills to serve multiple purposes, so I have room for useless goobers to make sure I have all families represented and/or interesting deities presented. I don't know if that's the best way to do it, but it's worked for me just fine. I've never actually tried not having all seven clans represented and I'm curious to see what this leads to. Also, voting for 4, it's planting season and we're bad at food, let's hope Dread Arengee doesn't screw us.

2.) Coordinate an attack with the Char-Orisae Attacking by ourselves in our basically-just-popped-into-existence state seems suicidal, trying to drive them off seems like it'd just have a similar effect with a side-disk of pissed-off neighbours, and just hoping they gently caress off on their own is a risky prospect. Teamwork makes the dream work, and hey, they owe us a favour, so let's cash that in right off the bat.

I'm more dismayed that you kept a 70year old leader who is gonna die next season and showed favoratism towards one family. That'll probably hurt our magic and as the best magicians we wouldn't make a mistake like that. Anyway. Trolls. 4. Leave well alone. It's sea season and if they stray towards us we will get option 1. Ok so design talk: really appreciate that they kept the seasonal cycle from KoDP for six ages. It's a solid mechanic with an easy familiar way to pick up the game as a KoDP player.

Voting for 4 and as for an amount the minimum required to make a good faith effort (According to that one councilor that was 10 cows worth). No point in turning down an opportunity to help diplomacy at our start. We'll have ample raiding options later.

1. give them 10 cows as a gesture of friendship. cows are the gold standard and it shows we are generous to friends. The Red Feathers are probably our best chance at a new alliance. Are we allied with anyone already? The map doesnt seem to show a blue friend clan. Who do we owe favors to, who owes us?

They think we suck, they are mad at us and if we give them cause to hate us more (raiding their poo poo, having events where we dick them over etc) they will move to feuding which is as you know from KoDP the rough equiv of war. Like is the polar opposite if people like us they're more likely to listen to what we have to say, consider providing assistance when asked out of friendship and generally do nice poo poo like prevent people from crossing their territory to raid us. Fear and Mock are the other axis, they represent how well respected our power is. If we are Feared by a clan it means they think we are powerful and will reflect this in their decisions. If they Mock us they think we are weak. So if a clan were to Fear and Hate us as the same time they'd be more likely to try to gang up to beat our faces in. If they were to Fear and Like us at the same time, they maybe more willing to be friends but maybe not do things they see as further increasing our independent power base.
