I find it weird that AOE casters and single target casters are lumped together when they're basically a completely different class. Then again I guess Specialists do that too.

it's present in ranged dps as well - there are basically single-target (exusiai, platinum, kroos, etc) and splash-damage (meteorite, shirayuki, catapult) variants arguably true of healers as well, but there's a bunch that kind of blur the lines between the two (single-target healers with active skills that are aoe)

I stopped playing mobile games once I got a Switch but this is so good it pulled me back to my phone. It reminds me of Defender's Quest with the great mix of tower defense and RPG elements. I love the character art, setting, and fashion designs. The UI/graphics are slick as hell too. I want Amiya's jacket

I like the base building stuff in this. I got a couple 4* Vanguards (or whatever that cheap class that is meant for early use and generating DP is called) from tickets which is nice and replaced the two 3* ones I think I got from the story (though seem to have slightly higher stats than the 3* ones and their skills give a little bit more CP). I think I should get a 5* or higher in the next 3 tickets, since I've been using the tickets I've gotten on that second banner.

Leveling and promoting higher rarity operators is also much more expensive, and you don't need them to clear any of the currently available content. Some of the low rarity operators you get for free like Melantha or Kroos can really go a long way.

Speaking of which, are all the characters who participated in chapter 1-11 like actually, canonically dead? Because in the next chapter W says she killed them, and Amiya gets all pissed off. But you can still use them in battle and stuff.

I'm really enjoying the gameplay of this. Unlike a lot of other gacha games I'm changing my squad with frequency due to the different layouts and compositions of various stages. I'm around level 35-40 and I'm absolutely on the carbon rod grind.

Yeah you should pretty much invest in every 3* the game gives you. It only costs 10k to elite 1’em and they punch way beyond their weight class. Plus in some maps you absolutely need an extra sniper/tank/caster so it’s not like you’ll stop using them if you find a stronger unit.

I just promoted my first unit with two skills, and see there's a setting for "default". Is that just the display or do I need to choose one to use?

You need to choose one to use, they can't have both at once. You also need to go into your current squad and manually set them to use the new move if you want them to use it, since changing the default doesn't seem to affect that. I suppose theoretically you might want them to use different skills on a different squad, and the "default" only applies to forming a new squad.

Not too happy that they're rushing the banners out for Global. I understand they want to catch up to the China server content, but if things come too fast it might get annoying. Going to have to look over all the banners and think about which ones I want to aim for. Also I need friends: Swift#7702
