TNG continuation but it takes place right after TNG/its movies ended and the main cast is just the characters that got turned into kid versions of themselves in that one episodes, played by those now grown up kids.

A guy who fetishizes the late 90s post grunge era the way Tom Paris fetishizes the 50s. Trying to impress space babes by putting on some Marcy Playground deep cuts, getting insanely huffy when she says “so they’re like nirvana? They’re actually my favorite ancient music band”

A show like Casino, but for Federation Night Clubs. Star Trek keeps referencing night clubs and that one bit in Into Darkness where Scotty is getting wasted at one was neat.

Tasha Yar: Origin And they constantly make references to her fate of being killed by the black slime monster... completely negating the entire point of that episode that her death was senseless. It would still be better written and less hamfisted than Star Trek: Picard.

I liked the STO shuttle mission about preparing a dinner of Klingon-Ferengi fusion cuisine- given both species have a liking for invertebrates, their food may be more compatible than you'd think. Also apparently Ferengi-Cajun fusion cuisine is delicious. Grandpa Sisko: Space Chef

A documentary series where each episode they walk you through a different board game or sport from across the galaxy, possibly framed as training for Federation diplomats. Yes this is an excuse to have another Allamaraine episode.

Take a Starfleet ship and a ship full of terrorists and send them across the galaxy very suddenly. Force the ships to combine their efforts as they try and make the journey home which they expect could take several generations. It could be great. The ship wears down over the seasons. Lots of opportunity for a long continuous story. The characters will grow, change, and have their ideals challenged when they’re far from the comforts of home and safety. You definitely don’t want it to be episodic. That would defeat the entire purpose of the premise. Can you imagine having a huge reset button every week as if nothing the crew did mattered?

Star Trek: Variety It's a Variety show. 42 minutes if Klingon Opera, Hologram Stand Up Comedians, dance numbers, sketches, maybe a somber song to call attention to social issues. Star Trek: Cabaret Kinda the same but on later because uniforms are shorter and just as trashy and blue as the humor.

Game of thrones, every season of it, but midway through the finale is just that one tyrannical blonde dragon lady. Instead of dying or whatever, she says "end program", the surroundings change to the yellow grid, and the holodeck doors open. As she stands in the doorway, looking back at the empty holodeck in thought, a man's voice over the comms breaks her reverie. "Captain, we're approaching our destination. We'll need you on the bridge in an hour or so." "Understood." she replies. Fade to black, roll credits.
