as mentioned it’s because their metric of user on site, user clicking ad, etc, hasn’t gone down. besides what are you going to use, something else (that is an example google thought not my own tyvm)

Do people actually use bing for real life searching? I have a friend who works on bing search stuff and he mentioned that the majority of bing usage is for porn.

I use bing a fair amount because it is the default search engine on the world's most advanced web browser, microsoft chedge

I have a friend who insists Bing is better for image search. But goddamn is it annoying trying to find information, but the only thing google serves you is how to buy something tangentially related. Anyone figure out how to find information? About like products and poo poo?

Even searching in the Chrome address bar for previous sites sucks rear end. I visit my electric company's website once a month and no matter what Chrome will never show it to me as I am typing the site out. It does that to me with sites I visit multiple times per week ffs. Meanwhile a website I visited once fourteen years ago will auto populate in Firefox just fine

before i had anything approaching a reasonable data allowance (i had 150mb per month in 2016) I used to draw a map with directions if I needed to get somewhere. I couldn't use my phone off WiFi or id blow the data allowance instantly
