Ok, here's the can of worms, I'm gonna pop the top! http://www.androidcentral.com/camera-showdown-moto-x-pure-edition-vs-lg-g4 Android Central claims it's pretty much a wash between the G4 and the Pure edition as far as camera goes. *DUCKS*

I think the Pure's camera is excellent. I'm coming from an LG G3 and a Nokia Lumia before that, so hopefully I have a bit of comparative history with good cameras. The LG camera was in no discernible way better than the Pure in low light with moving subjects (they both suck)

I think my iPhone camera was overall better in more situations but when the Pure gets a good shot it's usually really loving good.

Good point." Since I'm lazy and only ever use Auto-mode, I guess it's an S6 even though the price makes me cringe. Come on Blackberry Priv! Take good auto shots!

Why would a new phone not auto download my apps onto it? I just activated an Idol 3 for a work phone and usually when I first put my Google account info it will auto download all the stuff I have on my old phone, but it isn't doing that with the Idol. Any idea how to make it?

Apparently my '14 Moto X that has a sideloaded version of the early 5.1 leak isn't going to update to the Stagefright patch. Is there a way to manually update without wiping everything (and without root)?

Crossposting from the app thread since Hangouts stuff usually lands in here too: http://www.droid-life.com/2015/09/25/tip-use-nfc-to-transfer-hangouts-calls-from-one-device-to-another/ Two devices with NFC can use Android Beam to transfer phone calls between each device provided that call is through Hangouts. Technology has reached a point where you can take a phone call from your phone and send it to your tablet or other phone just by having them within close proximity to one another. Huh. Am I the only one who thinks "good"? Physical keyboards are antiquated dinosaurs of technology and there is literally no advantage to using them. No swype, or autocorrect, or really loving anything that makes texting on phones even workable. You might as well text with the dialpad again. The Blackberry Priv is a phone for nobody. Edit: so apparently you can swype with it because the keyboard is a touchpad or some weird poo poo, based on watching the video. I don't really miss physical keyboards and they make phones much bigger and worse build-wise but there are obvious advantages.

Couldn't figure out a better thread for this... my LG Tone HBS-700 headset is finally starting to die after 2 years. I remember hearing that the original model was better than the 2nd generation model... but what about whatever the current model is? There's the Tone Pro, Tone Ultra, and Tone Infinim, and I'm a little skeptical of the tone infinim because of the retractable earbuds which i feel like would be a major weak point.
