similarly i have been too productive today, so i think i will not do much for the rest of the afternoon got the mini back from the shop and then two back to back appointments, then did 3 job applications, and also scraped the apple tv aerial screensaver links to help out my psychiatrist (kinda weird story)

my main problem was that every time i'd go to make a new appointment, i'd have to find a new doctor because my job or insurance changed and the one i'd seen last was out of network now or (in two cases) had retired lol. and picking a new one was just, like, too much. i liked the one i saw today though, hopefully i can stay with them.

I went to the dentist for the first time in almost a decade b/c the tooth I broke when I was ten had the repair fall off again after ~15 years or so. my hygienist in the us, an old friend of mine, asked when I last saw a dentist and I said “before covid” which was technically true. later she remarked that my teeth were in great shape despite not seeing a dentist in “a couple years” no cavities either she did rightfully give me poo poo saying “you had braces and didn’t wear your lower retainer did you?” which… yeah you got me there

Seasoningchat I have become a recent convert and big fan of Furikake seasoning on my rice and noodle dishes. Not easy to get the read good stuff without a trip to a chinese supermarket in town, but a tub of 'Emma Basic Furikake' from Amazon is doing me good for now. Just did one of those Buldak Noodle Omelettes with a good shake of seasoning on top, 10/10 evening meal.

some of it is probably that, being in my 40s, i now inevitably have a laundry list of health concerns to get through that we barely have enough time for but they do really seem to have one foot out the door most of the time. maybe it's just an especially bad practice, who knows!
