Our Dance Kapital Karaoke Party was a huuuuge success , after the DJ and venue was paid we raised 1,100$ for the chapter which should really help out for the brakelight repair and other future events.  God I was so burned out by the end manning the door for the second half

What's the deal with SPUSA? One of our chairs and her boyfriend just joined SPUSA today. NHSP and NHSALT* always attend our meetings and events since we're the largest group, but since none of us are that big we're usually collaborating anyway. I don't mind the cross membership, but I was kinda hoping we'd absorb the other groups. *Disbanded more or less. They split off to form their own thing because SALT is drifting into electoral politics and it rubbed the locals members the wrong way.

had a couple of housing rights canvassers stop by tonight and legitimately freak out when I told them I knew about their organization and that I'm in the DSA turns out I'm probably rent-controlled and that owns, wonder what the stabilized rate for my insane-o apartment is. They set up a meeting next week.
