I really like vodka tonics. A good brand vodka, a REAL TONIC (not carbonated cornsyrup water) l, and a slice of lime on a hot summer day. It's the only alcohol I will drink besides beer.

Right now no one is certain Irma will hit the US at all, let along NY, but if it does then there's probably going to be trouble. The city is still reeling after Sandy because its infrastructure is so old and poorly maintained that repairs take an eternity, and the subway in particular is on death's door. More flooding might deliver the coup de grace.
