I'm going to that tour on Thurs and I'm hyped because it'll be at our local dive bar. Last time I saw them was at the Fillmore, ha

I quite like the Fillmore as a medium sized venue at least, I would go to more things there if it wasn稚 such a complete arse for me to get to.

I知 hoping the next time my mate from London is here, there値l be an excuse for me to head down to Churchills, Gramps, or Space Mountain for a show. Never seems to coincide with anything good.

It rules, right? I remember seeing them live after almost right after Watch Out! came out and holy smokes, when they played that outro of "Hey, it's your funeral Mama!" and go straight into "No Transitory" and gently caress. ME. drat. It gave me goosebumps. :swoon:

When they reunited in 2015 for Riotfest I got to see them at the Bottom Lounge and it was loving magical. Alexisonfire rules.

Is your name, by any chance, a reference to the venue that used to be Graceland? :3:

It's not my favorite album by either band but gently caress if I'm gonna miss a Touche show that isn't at Terminal 5, and hearing Pianos' old stuff will be fun.

That show at the Church in Philly is almost worth the cost of a plane ticket Jesus Christ

Gotchu, my man.

Graceland was, along with the Troubadour, one of my favorite places to play not only in the West Coast, but all of the US, so even after it changed names, it still remains one of my favorite places and some of my fondest memories from the early 00's.

In the entire beginning montage I was waiting for Skatune Network to show up, and I had no idea Finn did his own version. I didn't follow the flow of covers very closely, there are so many.

This just reminded me of something similar when before BTMI's Vacation came out. Jeff uploaded the instrumental of Vocal Coach and had a contest for people to send recordings of themselves singing what they assumed the lyrics would be. I don't think he ever posted the winner.

it seems like there's not a huge presence of hardcore kids in this thread.

i'm that contrarian guy who insists Have Heart is my least favorite Pat Flynn band but that show should be very fun.

Cool. I don't know much about the later US hardcore scene, but I dig bands like Battery, Betrayed, and Better Than A Thousand (which bizarrely all start with B and I can never remember which is which) so if it's similar to that I'll check it out.

Bane...yeah, there's another B band in the same vein. Never been into them as much though, only like some of their songs. Can We Start Again is pretty good.

fake edit: now that we're posting links, Battery has one of the best Young Till I Die covers I've heard. The original's probably one of my favorite hardcore songs in general

What attitude problem?
They fall into more melodic hardcore than the traditional early style, but I値l go to bat for Paint It Black any time. They were one of the best live shows I致e ever been to (them, Screaming Females, Iron Chic, Give).

It's weird, I'm not into goth music at all...except The Birthday Massacre, I love them. Most of my music collection is punk, hardcore, oi, and ska, and these guys are in there as well.

Now that we're talking about music that's slightly off the beaten path, I don't know if anyone listened to Intro5pect back in the day, basically a crack rock band with a techno twist:
