Are you too young to remember Donatello getting switched out on the original Ninja Turtles cartoon? Because that poo poo was nails on a chalkboard when they switched. Or even when Mary Kay Bergman passed away and they had to replace her on South Park.

Dunno if they ever explained it away, but I remember when Corey Feldman wasn't Donnie's voice in the 2nd TMNT live action movie, just sounded & felt off to me. Feldman had the perfect voice, it just "fit" Donatello. Matter of fact, they did a great job with all 4 turtles & getting voices that really fit the characters, I still can't help but laugh at Michelangelo's voice & mannerisms, they were spot-on.

I hate the Dave Coulier as Peter Venkman years of Real Ghostbusters. They're just flat-out no good. Lorenzo Music was a treat. And yes, there's the whole 'garfield/Peter Venkman' circle thing, which was neat.

Yeah, writing it out I thought the same thing since they're at 20+ seasons. But that voice actress established those characters so I felt it still counted. Especially since the later person had to basically impersonate her.

Video game subtle moment. In the Legendary ending of Halo Combat Evolved a brief cutscene plays at the end of the game where Sergeant Johnson and an Elite watch the Pillar of Autumn explode nearby and decide to hug it out before they die. In the original release the Elite slowly drops his grip to play grab rear end with Johnson. In the Anniversary Edition, Johnson is the one to play grab rear end instead.

One of which is the bad guy from the first red dead. The first time that little kid meets the agent is on a river bank. At the end of there first Red Dead, he kills that agent on a river bank. So just a full circle thing that's neat in a game full of circles.

I like to think you can kind of tell when an actor was also the writer / director of a show. High Maintenance, Girls, Crashing, Better Things, etc. There's a certain seamlessness to the performance where you can kind of feel the material being performed exactly as intended. I recently learned a great one. Crush, in Finding Nemo. His short few lines manage to perfectly encapsulate the entire film. And it's Andrew Stanton doing the voice, who also wrote and directed it. Bucky Fullminster has a new favorite as of 11:54 on Oct 4, 2019 |

I need someone to puke out some lines plainly because I wrote the lines in such a way that they are completely unnatural dialogue and impossible to say without sounding like you’re reading from a script because I’m a dumbass and lovely writer of lovely movies, but I hire good actors so they are dangerously close to making the lines work anyway. Guess that part goes to me

Hey, that sounds like: - Gilmore Girls - any dialogue for the “witty” child actor - Big Bang theory (note: this doesn’t apply to the “hiring good actors that come dangerously close to making the lines work”) - etc
