A bunch of nerds can rationalize lightsabers and like a billion other things but there's just no conceivable way there'd be treads in the future. I mean it's dumb but no more dumb than anything else

The treads make the thing go faster than just hovering at the expense of maneuverability.

I was talking to a huge Star War nerd and I told him my favorite of the bunch was Rogue One and he acted like I punched him in the face. Edit: This grouping loving sucks. Could you only afford one target?

The only thing stupider than wheels in Star Wars would be slow-moving four-legged vehicles that can be easily tripped with a metal cable.

I'm sorry I can't help myself https://twitter.com/shanley/status/1199368073154875392?s=20 Sad but it's also probably another grift. Like for $50/mo you get access to a pic of side boob with no nipple and a mediocre pencil drawing of herself, and that's it. No more updates ever.

these days I think of Star Wars like the Mario series. The characters we're seeing are themselves actors in the star wars universe, and off screen they're hanging out and playing tennis and driving go-karts and having parties on giant city-block-sized board games n poo poo

Reminded how despite the fact I'm a huge nerd, I have almost nothing in common with most nerds apparently. Can't talk about any common interests because female protagonists aren't a trigger for me. Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe the awful ones are just loud like chuds.

They're also like 35-50 years old so idk if that's part of it, but I also noticed a pretty wide spread of types of people when I worked at a Comic Book/board game/magic the gathering store. The teens in particular were more socially conscious than I remember when I was a young nerd, though there was one boy who would wait until his peers were gone and try to talk to us olds about 'the good ol days', lol Peanut Butler has a new favorite as of 23:00 on Nov 26, 2019 |
