Abbadon says he's going to majorly overhaul hacking along with target locks and scans in the next revision to the rules so we'll see how it shakes out.

Well I mean you're not wrong that the Goblin is very much not a frontline fighter, it's basically a dedicated e-warfare/hacking platform, though weapons in LANCER don't scale down in effectiveness the smaller your mech is which means you could still mount a railgun to it and be a threat. I'll admit I'm a little surprised that the Goblin's frame is as exposing as it is, but it definitely looks neat.
