I think the point is Z3n is a space cowboy on the edge of a frontier unknown to man, he's out there pushing the limits, trail braking into the abyss. Finding out where the edge of the razor is, turning to face the darkness and revving his 690 into it's vast gaze. You gotta live this to learn it bro.

Watching him subtly spin the rear off the apex midway through is fantastic.

I wouldn't know what to do with it! 4x the power of my bike and only 40kg more weight, and I'd be checking out how well it hops curbs and filters past taxis and busses :v:. I wouldn't turn down a ride if someone handed me the keys though!

That was the original plan, but my jacket is too tight for taco transportation. It wasn't a buying point I had thought to check out before purchase :v:

I did the same thing with beer once. I couldn't quite fit a 12 pack of bottles in my backpack so I taped one to each upper arm.

Don't worry, if you weren't that guy it would have been me. Horrible HDR. :( I would have preferred normal shots with some vignetting thrown in for good measure, and I loving hate vignetting (Top Gear has a lot to answer for there IMO).

While this guy is a complete idiot, I really like his choice of camera positioning. You really feel like you are the idiot about to smash into something, rather than attached to the helmet and just floating in space.

Happy camping.
Bird strike!

I might have noticed the bird coming, but all my brain registered was something small and dark coming towards me really fast. I just thought it was a leaf, insect or even a raindrop. I never heard or felt an impact.

A mile or so later I noticed feathers sticking out from under the instrument cluster.

Crashing in the dealer's lot is like od'ing just up the street from the hospital, or having your car burst into flames in front of a fire hall - sure it's embarassing, but at least you don't have to go far.

To be fair, even new tyres aren't that slippery. Looks like they had tyre shine on them.

I like blue.
For the Chicago/Norther Indiana goons there was Chicago Cycle center. just about everyone that worked there was a douchebag. Less than 200 feet from their parking lot going west was a set of really rough railroad tracks crossing the road. I would have loved to have seen it more than the once I had where someone on their brand new bike would tear out of the parking lot, hit the rough tracks, suddenly go WOT, and they'd be standing there while the bike took off for the horizon on it's own. The unlucky ones would get a sudden visit from Mr. Wheelie and loop the bike on top of themselves.

The day I picked up my first 08 bandit there was a kid there getting his new GSXR1K. He pretty much did what the kid in the video did, but add in the guy I saw scraping against a few bumpers of parked cars before the bike met the pavement...
