The most successful terror attack maps to the death of just over one one-hundred-thousandth of that body, or about 1 gram of biomass. Human blood has a mass/volume ratio of 1.05g/mL. In order to be an appropriate metaphor, the worst that these skittles can do is cause us to lose one milliliter of blood. A "drop" in pharmacy parlance is 0.05 mL, so in total, the most damage these death-skittles could possibly cause is the loss of about 19 drops of blood from the body that eats them. If you scoffed the whole bowl down, you'd lose a grand total of 3 mL of blood. A typical blood donation is 500 mL. In order to risk death, you need to lose about three times that much.
