I'm not sure it's inherently more dangerous than a motorcycle absent the actual structural integrity of the scooter. You come off either at that speed you're probably dead.

as someone who used to ride a smallish motorcycle, this makes my butthole clench so tight. one tiny pothole and that dude is completely hosed, those tiny wheels and no suspension aren't gonna help at all.
