Should have done it today, there's rain forecast for tomorrow. ;)

Lots of bicycles out on the weir road today, so I was stuck between trying to avoid those on the left and not going too far right to avoid getting hit by cars going wide. Only saw like five (motor)bikes between Mundaring and Kalamunda, too, which was kind of bizzare on the first nice day in weeks.

I risk coming across as an internet film critic but isn't it a little boring? The photography is certainly wonderful, better than many bike/gear ads for sure. But the content is basically a sensible guy riding. No angles or editing that tries to capture why sensible riding is brilliant. Content-wise you could probably do better with a GoPro and a something handheld capable of 720p and a variation of focal lengths. But I guess hanging camera equipment worth several 1198s on an 1198 isn't very clever.
Agreed.

I prefer this one, if I need to be inspired to go out and ride. It's been around for a while now, but I rather enjoy it.

Hey guys here is a cool video of some guy with tattoos and Brylcreem in his hair, he builds choppers from scratch. He's got a flannel shirt on and dirty hands, cool look at this zoom shot of his rough dirty hands. He built this by the old fashioned way, look at this black and white shot of his workshop. Check out this ugly rear end tank he made by hand, isn't it awesome. Now he's gonna stare at the camera with a quiet knowing look, then he's gonna talk about how things are not quality anymore. He built his own bike and sometimes he can ride for miles before something breaks. He's genuine, look at his tattoos, I bet they all tell a story. Do you guys hate bikes with suspensions? Me too, it's not because geometry is hard, I just like riding bikes with no suspension. Ok well cool cya, I'm busy being genuine for this other guy who has a DSLR he would like to make a movie of me with. SPARKS FROM A GRINDING WHEEL FLY IN SLOW MOTION.

THE END.

It's hard to take this video seriously, having worked on a lot of mopeds at our shop. In my experience, mopeds are all rickety unreliable death traps, even when in good condition, and are mostly owned by people who think they are viable as daily transportation (they are not) and who cannot afford to pay to have them fixed when they break, as they frequently do.

Mopeds are great in an urban environment, aren't huge theft targets, easy to park yet street legal, and if the engine sticker is small enough you don't need to insure it or have a license, just register it and ride.

I guess eggyolk left nothing to be added to the discussion now, but mopeds are indeed fun and practical for inner city shennanigans. "Rickety" and "death trap" do not disqualify a vehicle anyway...right?

I dunno, GIS for Caprice is some blonde chick who looks nothing like that. Specifically I'm talking about the bottom of her thigh looking kinda wavy, but it may just be shadows doing weird poo poo. v:shobon:v

It seems more likely that her thigh is doing that because she's sitting on a motorcycle. I'm sure her skin is airbrushed and all that poo poo they always do though, so if something looks off you could be picking up on that.

Yeah, I think it may just be airbrushing loving with the shadows & the light reflecting off the white ground doing weird things.

Interesting writeup on Enfield. Was fun to read, cause I work at an Enfield dealer. They mention the fact, but don't drive it home, that RE is "one of" the oldest bike manufacturers in the world in continuous production. In fact they're the oldest in the world as far as I know, considering that Harley only goes back to 1903. But I guess RE doesn't really count now because they're owned by brown people.
