Apparently it's gonna be snowing in the finale. This should obviously be an easy ride for the people living in heated houses full of stored food compared to the idots wrapped in skin in the woods. I don't expect much to go wrong for the good guys.

Was legit shocked though that was Brett Butler. Didn't recognize her at all in any of the previous episodes and didn't realize it til she showed up on Talking Dead.

It’s cool how Lydia now has literally no connection to the group so her place in the show makes no sense. In the comics she’s with Carl. He and Andrea take Lydia away from Alexandria because everyone knows she’s Alpha’s daughter and want to retaliate / use her to get to Alpha or just kill her. Carl protects her throughout the Whisperer war and she even has a cool moment where she makes the decision to stay and protect Hilltop against the whisperers. In the show the one kid that would vouch for her is a piked head now lmao.

My DVR cut off when Alpha snuck into the theater and put her finger to her lips. I was like "Well I guess that's one way to do an ending. Not what I'd have gone with, but maybe they're doing the pike wall for the finale." AMC has the full episode on their site. The interaction between Carol and Daryl at the pikes was pretty solid imo.

Yeah i think that's why I was actually surprised they killed the new Carl. But then again I was also surprised when they killed off old Carl for no real reason. Ok, so I'll give the show props cause I was certain all 3 main characters were done and dead. I'm kinda tired of this show just having a big bad of the season. I was kinda hoping for something more this season. But nope we get a group of magical forest people who can control zombies, somehow have an army of people. I think the dumbest part is why does she want territory? I joked to my wife multiple times this isnt the dumb west but with zombies. Like in a western thered be oil or some poo poo on the land shes protecting. But what the gently caress to the whisperers need land for? Maybe I missed it and its sacred hunting ground or some poo poo. And I wonder who would win in the winter, a bunch of campers with no shelter and who's only weapon is a horde frozen to snowbanks or 4 communities with heat, food and shelter.

If the whispers are good at living off the land, it actually puts the settlements at a disadvantage, they can be cut off from their fields. Also given that it's somewhere near Washington, it doesn't get that cold in winter.
