So sad that happened to Hobbs in his big main event match. Just a freak accident  A huge bummer. I was really hoping it would be his star-making moment.Julia was known but I hope she heals quickly, too. It's nice she was able to finish out a good title run with a lot of fun memorable moments.

A lot of injuries in wrestling lately. I wonder if something in general trends of athletic training is causing this, I know for a fact that many of the current dieting trends are extremely unhealthy

Injuries in AEW are such a trifling thing because there’s like a dozen other people waiting to fill those spots, it’s just the natural cycles. Hobbs/Julia/Chuck out, Fenix/RUSH/Deeb in. Getting a guy who markets professional bull riding is so random but I trust in this insane man

Don't take that the wrong way....they're plenty strong and in great shape. But maybe they're focusing on the wrong muscles during training? Maybe the huge muscles in one area put extra strain on their other tendons and such?

Julia has been having shoulder problems before and it's why she had a break before the street fight. She's also 22, so there's a lot of time in her career and shouldn't rush things and she should be getting good recovery time. That's a bright star that AEW needs to cultivate further With Hobbs,  it's just unfortunate timing in a match. I want a Hobbs run

I think they may pivot away from Heel Statlander. I dunno, it feels weird right now unless they tie it into whatever Trent whispered to her...which could be Callis Family-related, I suppose. They know that they need to lean into this Mercedes turn, and are sowing the seeds nicely, so it feels weird to just leave Willow high and dry if both Stat and Stokely turn on her. Stokely and Mercedes is a tempting duo.

There was a small part of me that thought Trent was gonna do some kind of undercover "pretend to be a heel" thing to get into the Elite, but then he went and murdered Chuck and now I don't think that's the case.

Possibly, but it's more likely a result of steroid/gear usage and the extra strain put on ligaments/tendons.
