Heh, just checked out Google Maps and the remains of the approach section of the ramp still seem to be visible, but it also appears that the ramp and artificial hill itself have been leveled again. https://goo.gl/maps/qggz9

While there are no numbers yet, I'm sure they will be high, and it wouldn't surprise me if the Hellcat could pull off a hero lap despite its two ton weight.

Pre '66 FIA historic racing means Dunlop Racing crossply tyres, which equals huge slip angles when driven hard compared to modern rubber.

In old high power Porsches like that the steering you do with the front set of wheels is merely a suggestion. Most of the steering is done with your right foot and if you hesitate or lift...well you die. I've driven a few in the rain on the track and it is an amazing experience, even with the best new rain tires money can buy you know the car wants to go around the corner backwards. Damnit now I want an old 911 track rat again. To be fair to those two (and Farm Truck, by default), they were in Hot Rod magazine long before the show was created. Some of those guys have been famous in the heads-up/street race/fastest street car scene for years. As a matter of fact, the king of Drag Week, Larry Larson, was on an episode. I stopped watching Top Gear a while ago and have never seen a full episode of Top Gear US, but every time I've seen something about Rutledge, he comes off as the Real Deal. That isn't to say that Roadkill doesn't fabricate some drama or take liberties with editing; however, non-fiction is endlessly more interesting than fiction. Roadkill is the best. Thank you, AI.
