Yeah they're martial artist slippers/shoes/whatever you wanna call em Also you can see the texture is different on his body where the outfit would be, can see the cuff of his pants, and his collar as well. It's very slight, but considering the point in the story where that pose is from, it makes sense that it's hard to tell the motherfucker is still wearing clothes.

Garou's clothes/design are a ode of sorts to western super heros, like spiderman, who all wear skin tight clothing. Exceot Garou is loving awesome and spiderman is a little bitch who got snapped out of existence or some poo poo.

If they want to keep the pace of S1 it has to be a 2 episode affair at most. Problem is the monster association prep and attack arcs are so dense. So incredibly dense with cool poo poo. Also the season will live or die on how they animate Garou. There are so many cool animation touches that you could possibly do.

It’s weird because the garou arc seriously goes on forever. It’s the part in the original webcomic where he decided some chapters should be 90 pages long too. I guess they could cut off the season right before they enter the monsters association? Idk that doesn’t give saitama himself much to do.

They should just take Saitama out of the second season to save time. edit: I mean physically. Have him still saying his lines and everything but never actually draw him and when the camera focus changes after picks something up, immediately make it invisible.

Even better, have him there and playing his part, but any time he's supposed to be on screen the camera subtly pans or shifts to cut him out of the shot.

The best part is that that video is heavily truncated from the full OVA so if you go and watch it, you're getting another ten minutes or so of OPM.
