Also its me, I hate Zelda and Mario games and therefore wont buy the new Nintendo console. Not dropping $400+ CDN just for an SMT game, sorry Atlus.

I've got to say I just see the 'normal' people in the Mario trailer as like, basically scenery, which might be weird, but it means that my brain accepts it pretty easily. Sure Mario goes to New York City, there are taxis there (and people). Maybe they're not close enough to trigger the uncanny valley for me. It could be so much worse! They could be like monkeys or something.
